This success story is part of a broader initiative that began in June 2022, aiming to transform the lives of marginalised children aged 10-13 in Kerala. We conducted pre-intervention tests among 500 children from low-income families, revealing alarming proficiency gaps in foundational numeracy and essential skills.

Aligned with national reports, our findings underscore the urgent need for intervention. To address this, Value Education Trust has partnered with five government-aided schools in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Pathanamthitta districts, with ten trained teachers and 150 enrolled children.

 We’re expanding our reach to 500 children, conducting needs assessments in seven additional schools through tests, focus groups, surveys, and interviews.

 Here’s a glimpse into our transformative approach:
