Kerala, known for its high Human Development Index, still faces challenges in ensuring quality education for all. Meet Amala, a sixth-grader from a humble background whose story embodies resilience and determination. Despite facing financial constraints and struggling in her studies, Amala dreams of becoming a doctor.
With the support of our community, dedicated individuals, generous contributors, and invaluable collaborators, children like Amala are given the tools and opportunities to thrive academically and personally. Our comprehensive training programs focus on building foundational numeracy skills, enhancing learning abilities, and fostering personal development. Through innovative techniques like the abacus and Vedic Mathematics, children not only improve their academic performance but also gain confidence and critical thinking skills.
Amala’s progress is remarkable. Over 18 months, she has shown significant improvement in her grades, demonstrating the impact of VET’s programs on her academic journey.
But Amala’s story is just one among many. Our collective efforts extend to over 450 children across twelve government-aided schools in Kerala. Together, we’re empowering the next generation of responsible citizens who will actively contribute to society.
