“Based on the Annual States of Education Report, it is evident that learning levels in our government schools remain unsatisfactory, plagued by numerous shortcomings. In light of this, I wholeheartedly endorse the endeavours of the Value Education Trust. By extending this program to train teachers in our government schools, we have the potential to transform the lives of not just 430 children but 43,000! Such an expansion could pave the way for a Kerala model of education.”
These inspiring words by Dr Shashi Tharoor, honourable Member of Parliament from Thiruvananthapuram, during his inaugural address at the event on July 20th, reinforced our commitment to making a difference in the lives of marginalised children in Kerala. His words touched our hearts and strengthened our resolve.
Our mission? To help children from underserved communities develop age-appropriate academic proficiency and nurture good character.
