As we enter the season of giving, I’m thrilled to share why celebrating Daan Utsav is incredibly meaningful for us at Value Education Trust.
Daan Utsav, also known as the Joy of Giving Week, is a nationwide festival with a rich history dating back to 2009. It was initiated by a group of like-minded individuals who recognized the transformative power of giving. Today, it has become a cherished tradition, uniting millions across India in acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity.
At Value Education Trust, we’re proud participants in this festival this year, and we can’t emphasize enough how perfectly it aligns with our mission. Daan Utsav embodies what we stand for – values, community, and positive impact.
This year, we’ve kicked off Daan Utsav in a heartwarming way: The 5th graders at St Mary’s School in Ernakulam, Kerala, who are participants in our project, put their hands and hearts together to clean up their school library and arrange all the books. It’s a beautiful example of how even the youngest among us can embrace the spirit of giving and make a tangible difference in their community.
Join us on this heartfelt journey as we celebrate the inspiring actions of our children. Acts like these, no matter how small, create a ripple effect of positivity that extends far beyond our immediate surroundings.
Let’s make this Daan Utsav the most impactful one yet! Share your own stories of giving and join us in experiencing the joy of making a difference.
