Learning and Skill Development Highlights:

  • 82% of children grapple with distractions, leading to careless errors.
  • 65% struggle with spelling, memorisation, and recall.
  • 59% opt for external help.
  • 56% of parents perceive Maths performance as average.

Key Challenges:

  • Word problems and multiplication tables (6–9) are common hurdles.
  • Poor Maths is blamed on a lack of interest and concentration.
  • Exam fear expressed by some parents.

Character Exploration:

  • Concerns about short-tempered nature, laziness, phone use, and emotional distress.
  • 100% of parents agree on the need for character education.

Project Expectations:

  • High expectations for the Value-rooted skill development project.
  • Parents anticipate improvements in learning, character, and academic performance.
