We are thrilled to announce the successful inauguration of the second year of our 4-year program for marginalised children in government-funded schools in Ernakulam district in Kerala!

The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and an inspiring address by Ms Difi Joseph, AEO Ernakulam, who shared her educational journey and emphasised the importance of perseverance.

Anne Samuel, the Executive Director, officially kicked off the ceremony and passionately shared the story behind embarking on the value-rooted skill development programme. Ms. Mini VR, our Program Director, warmly welcomed students, parents, teachers, and esteemed guests. Ms Uma Achuthan, Chairman of the VET Advisory Board, highlighted the need for continuous learning beyond textbooks. Rev. Sr. Leena Grace, Education Councillor, SD, St. Mary’s Provincial House, shared the endearing story of how her ‘yes’ to try the VET method made a huge difference to her students.

The program featured impressive demonstrations by students showcasing their numerical skills, a special presentation on the values embedded in our holistic curriculum, and a delightful dance performance by the teachers. The event concluded with the distribution of school kits and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms Sajitha G Menon, the Finance Director.

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success! Together, we are paving the way for a brighter future for these incredible children.
